With water based gloss and satin finishes fast becoming both popular and necessary for our enviroment it’s important you know how to apply them.
Avoid using a natural bristle brush,you won’t get a good finish.
You are best using a professional quality brush like a Purdy or Wooster and a synthetic one at that.

When applying the finish avoid overworking the paint,apply quickly and lay off in one direction.
It’s a good idea to lower your heating if you are not used to applying water based paint,it can dry very quickly.
If you are applying the paint to a large area use a 4-6″ foam roller,you can use a normal roller,providing it has been used several times (so there is not lint coming off),A quality foam roller is recommended.
This will enable you to cover a larger area quickly.
Lay off with a brush if required.Some people prefer the finish with a foam roller.
WASH YOUR EQUIPMENT after use in warm water.
